YELLOW BELLY
Yellow Belly is SOPS’ containment specialist, a human operative whose yellow armour comes complete with a pair of ridiculous rabbit ears that do little to improve his reputation for courage. He has an uncanny habit of hanging back while everyone else deals with whatever dangerous superhuman, creature or catastrophe SOPS has encountered, only advancing once he’s reasonably certain the coast is clear. That’s when Yellow Belly earns his keep, deploying an assortment of restraints, nets, binding foams and containment equipment designed to immobilise even unusually powerful targets. He insists this is sensible tactical positioning rather than cowardice, and once the danger has passed, he’s always ready to move in and wrap things up - literally.
