THE BEAST

The Beast is one of the Rot Emperor’s less successful experiments - a monstrous hybrid created by combining reptilian biology with moss and other primitive plant life. Possessing enormous strength and almost inexhaustible stamina, its body is protected by overlapping hardened scales tough enough to resist gunfire, while the absence of functioning pain receptors means injuries that would incapacitate most creatures barely slow it down. Its claws and jaws are powerful enough to tear through heavy materials, and glands within its mouth produce a potent venom delivered through its bite.

The Beast’s plant-derived biology also gives it remarkable regenerative abilities, particularly in damp environments, while moss growing across its body helps retain moisture and allows it to remain dormant for extraordinary periods with very little food. Unfortunately, intelligence and obedience were not among the traits the Rot Emperor successfully engineered into his creation. The Beast is territorial, unpredictable and extremely difficult to control - making even the Unmortals wary whenever it is allowed off its leash.
