Once an ordinary pigeon enthusiast with a prized flock of birds, Stool Pigeon’s life fell apart when they mysteriously disappeared without a trace. Unable to accept their loss, he suffered a nervous breakdown and now spends his days trading information to anyone willing to pay, hoping to earn enough money to hire a detective to find his feathered friends.
Perched atop his trademark stool outside cafés, offices and street corners, Stoolie has become Pretty City’s best-connected informer. Heroes, villains and everyday citizens alike have learned that if there’s a secret worth knowing, chances are Stool Pigeon heard it first. Believing his missing birds might one day spot him from above, Stoolie dresses as a giant pigeon in the hope of guiding them home.
Never underestimate a man who’s prepared to ruffle a few feathers.
