A gifted medical student with a thorough understanding of the human body, Spare Change gained the ability to alter his own genetic structure during a laboratory accident. He can duplicate himself and transform into other people -or animals - of a similar mass, making him one of Alpha Crew’s most versatile heroes. Under Big Red’s guidance, he’s also learning that the strongest weapon isn’t always the sharpest blade… but the person wielding it.
Despite his good looks, athletic build and sharp mind, Spare Change remains remarkably shy. He believes there’s little point using a sledgehammer to open a door when a key will do, preferring intelligence and patience over brute force. Ironically, for someone who can become almost anyone, Spare Change is most happy being himself.
