NUE

Nue is the kind of thug you send when you’re not entirely sure what the job will involve. Usually appearing human, he can revert to his true anthropomorphic monkey form - although that’s only the beginning. Nue possesses chimeric shapeshifting abilities, allowing him to draw upon different animal traits when needed, enhancing his strength, agility and senses or transforming parts of his body into something considerably more dangerous. Unpredictable by nature, even Nue’s opponents can never be certain what he’ll become next.

Like Kamaitachi, Nue works for the mysterious organisation known as Kobushi - “The Fist”, with the pair frequently dispatched together to handle its less respectable business. Where Kamaitachi favours speed and precision, Nue relies on adaptability, brute force and whatever wild idea occurs to him in the moment. He may look like the more laid-back half of the partnership, but once a fight begins, things can get out of hand very quickly. With Nue around, there’s always time for a little monkey business.
