GOD KID

God Kid has divine blood running through both sides of his family - and he never lets anyone forget it. Hermes is his grandfather, giving him extraordinary speed, reflexes and coordination, with a top speed of around 250 mph when he really pushes himself. The other side of the family tree is considerably murkier, although somewhere among his ancestors is an unidentified god associated with luck and fortune. The result is an uncanny ability to bend probability in his favour: doors happen to be unlocked, falling objects land exactly where he needs them, and impossible escapes have an irritating habit of becoming possible. God Kid doesn't just believe in luck. He expects it.

Unfortunately, divine ancestry has also given God Kid an ego almost as impressive as his abilities. Brash, impulsive and overflowing with youthful bravado, he genuinely considers himself God's gift to women - technically, he may even have a case. He'll charge into danger with complete confidence that his speed will get him there and his luck will get him out, usually finding time to flirt, boast or annoy Magic Girl somewhere in between. Beneath all the swagger, though, he's courageous, fiercely loyal and will throw himself into danger for his friends without hesitation. He just prefers to call it divine intervention.
