Dotty is regarded as the Rot Emperor’s finest experiment, although the exact nature of their work together - and their relationship - appears to stretch back much further than either is willing to discuss. A human-fungus hybrid with a decidedly playful approach to mayhem, Dotty’s colourful appearance conceals a remarkably toxic biology: her skin is poisonous to the touch, while airborne spores can infect those nearby and induce disorientation, distorted senses and vivid hallucinations. She can produce tough fungal filaments as whips or restraints, regenerate damaged tissue through accelerated fungal growth, and even disappear into established fungal colonies before emerging from another some distance away. Mischievous, immature and more than a little unpredictable, Dotty often treats dangerous situations as though they were a game - which can make it remarkably easy to forget just how dangerous she actually is.
