ANDIE

There’s something unusual about Andie Sparks. She’s stronger than she should be, faster than she should be, remarkably difficult to hurt, and her senses and ability to process information sometimes border on impossible. The problem is, nobody seems to know why - including Andie. She isn’t a vampire, psychic, sorcerer or demigod, and every attempt to neatly explain her abilities seems to raise more questions than it answers.

Not that Andie spends much time worrying about it. Rebellious, emotional and occasionally spectacularly insensitive, she can be incredibly smart one minute and make a complete mess of something the next. She learns quickly but certainly doesn’t know everything, fails just like everyone else, and has an impressive talent for getting herself into trouble. Whatever the explanation for her mysterious abilities eventually turns out to be, Andie is perfectly happy with the person she already knows she is. She’s only human, after all.
